A cake is a firework comprised of single-shot stars, small aerial shells, or a combination of both, connected by a varying-speed fuse. The internal fuse will ignite each tube in series and may also ignite several tubes simultaneously! Vertical cakes are a multishot “show in a box” and a great addition to a fireworks show.
